At SEE (Oldham) we recognise that all of our learners have individual educational needs that must be understood and taken into account. We seek to raise engagement, participation, and achievement by removing any barriers to learning and by increasing curricular access for all.
Learners with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities are valued members of our school community and we believe that all teachers are teachers of SEND. However, some learners will require extra support and resources to support their engagement and learning, and to realise their potential.
Our Vision for learners with SEND
For all of our learners to believe in themselves, to achieve their academic and social potential and to succeed in securing their future in education, training or the workplace.

Children and young people with SEND (Local Offer)
The Oldham Local Offer provides information on what is available in Oldham for children and young people and their families with special educational needs and/or a disability (SEND).
The Local Offer has been produced by children, young people, parents, carers, and practitioners working together. Families have been engaged throughout the development of the Local Offer and feedback forms are a fundamental part of its ongoing development.
